NATURA DIETRO IL CASTELLO

A pochi passi dalla Piazza degli Scacchi c’è un sentiero, e in un attimo ti ritrovi in mezzo al bosco. Il brusio della città lascia spazio alla quiete di questo angolo selvaggio, che ha davvero tanto da raccontare. Le chiome degli alberi creano un microclima speciale e il cinguettio degli uccelli ci accompagna nell’esplorazione di rocce, piante, insetti e tutto quello che stuzzica la nostra curiosità. Attraversiamo boschi e prati per raggiungere infine la parte alta della città murata, dove sorge il “Castello Superiore”. Da qui ammiriamo la pianura e la magnifica Piazza degli Scacchi che si stagliano sotto di noi, per poi scendere di nuovo in città.

NATURE BEHIND THE CASTLE Just a few steps from the Chess Square there is a path, and in no time you find yourself in the middle of the woods. The city buzz gives way to the quiet of this wild corner, that has lots of stories to tell. The trees create a special microclimate and the chirping of birds keep us company while exploring rocks, plants, insects and everything that whets our interest. We walk through meadows and woods to reach the upper part of the walled town, where the “Castello Superiore” stands. From here we admire the plain and the wonderful Chess Square and then we head back to the town.

STORIE DI ACQUA, ROCCE, VITA

Un itinerario alla scoperta della chicca naturalistica di Marostica.

Un torrente che scende dolcemente lungo una valle ombrosa, incidendo la roccia in un susseguirsi placido di cascatelle e pozze. Un’acqua in cui si riflette il verde della vegetazione che fa da cornice ad un paesaggio fiabesco.
Questa è la valle dei Gorghi Scuri, una valle da cui sgorgano, insieme all’acqua, infinite storie: le rocce ci raccontano di un passato in fondo al mare, gli animali e le piante ci parlano di un ecosistema fragile e vitale, i ruderi ci fanno sapere che un tempo l’uomo qui viveva di ciò che le colline avevano da offrirgli. Passo dopo passo, ci lasceremo meravigliare da un ambiente davvero selvaggio e integro.

This itinerary allows you to discover the natural gem of Marostica.

A stream that flows gently along a shaded valley, creating a sequence of small waterfalls and ponds. Placid water reflecting the green vegetation, the backdrop of a fairy landscape. This is “Gorghi Scuri” valley, a place where countless stories flow with the water: rocks will tell us of a past under the sea, animals and plants will talk about a fragile and vital ecosystem, ruined buildings are the witness of a time when people lived off this land. Step by step, we will be fascinated by the wilderness of this place.

LA VIA DEI PASTORI

Una strada romana, storicamente percorsa dai pastori durante la transumanza, una ricca vegetazione che si trasforma salendo di quota, e all’improvviso ci ritroviamo in montagna; l’aria è più fresca e la vista da qui è bellissima. Questo itinerario ci conduce alla scoperta della vita contadina e dell’antico legame tra uomo e natura, passeggiando tra boschi e terrazzamenti.

Alla fine del percorso è possibile visitare l’Ecomuseo della paglia nella tradizione contadina, uno spazio espositivo che ci racconta l’antica arte del costruire cappelli e borse partendo da sottili fili di paglia intrecciati. Vi va di provare? Abili maestre intrecciatrici saranno a vostra disposizione per insegnarvi questa affascinante tecnica di lavorazione, per concludere in bellezza questo tuffo nel passato.

THE ROUTE OF THE SHEPHERD

A Roman road, historically walked by transhumant shepherds, a rich vegetation that is transformed as you ascend, and suddenly we find ourselves in the mountains; the air is fresh and the view from here is beautiful. This route leads to the discovery of the rural life and the ancient bond between man and nature, walking through woods and terraces. At the end of the tour, we can visit the Eco-museum of straw in the rural tradition, an exhibition space that illustrates the ancient art of making straw hats and bags. Want to try? Una fitta rete di sentieri si sviluppa sui colli a nord del Castello medievale, permettendoci di esplorare boschi, paesaggi terrazzati e antiche contrade.

Non semplici passeggiate dunque, ma tante storie che si intrecciano passo dopo passo: storie di animali, piante, rocce, tradizione contadina e molto altro.
